Hello everybody,
I hope you have a good times I want to ask what is the most suitable development kit that I can use it to develop the system in the figure attached,please notice that the system is a unmanned aerial vehicle and the size of the board is one of the constrains. Do you already have the DSP? I'm not aware of any kit with an integrated DSP. It may be possible to have one on a HSMC daughter card, but it will make your kit rather big.
Some of the input/outputs may require some additional circuits that you will need to provide.- Mark as New

This is a very interesting question. Since there are so many servo drives, my suggestion is to use a dual board approach. So make your own motherboard with the digital I/O buffers and drivers needed, and then use an off the shelf FPGA boad, such as DE-NANO board from Terasic, or similar board from Terasic. Not too many people make small (4x6) FPGA daughter cards that are suited for control purposes in this manner. -James

If you hadn't the size constraint I would have suggested one of the standard development kits and use a prototype HSMC board such as this one (http://www.bitec-dsp.com/hsmc_proto.html) to put your ADC, servo drivers and serial interfaces.
For a smaller size the DE0-nano is a good solution. There is also the bemicro (http://www.arrownac.com/offers/altera-corporation/bemicro/index.html) that has a 80-pin contact and can be flashed so that you don't need the USB connection, if I remember correctly. It uses a non standard RAM though, and you need to buy a license to use it. Without more details about the DSP you require and how you need to interface it to the FPGA it is difficult to give any ideas on this part though.
