Hi Team,

We are facing shortage on 5M160ZM100C5N: We are searching for some possible options.

Here are few we came across couple of options -

5M240ZM100I5N ----- same number of I/Os

Could you please confirm they have same pin outs & can be used in place of 5M160ZM100C5N without board redesign.

Hi Manohara,

5M240ZM100I5N and 5M240ZM100C5N have same number of pins and IO count. The only difference is temperature grade.

5M160ZM100C5N has the same package pin and pin count with 5M240ZM100I5N and 5M240ZM100C5N.

The logic element value for 160 is lesser than 240.

You may need to check in Quartus if your design can fit in 240 part. If it cannot fit your design, potentially you may need to redesign.

You may want to refer to Table 1-2.

However, I will suggest you to contact your FAE to get help and support to your issue. They may have more info to share.

Thanks!
