Flash load failure

Hi all,

I am having trouble loading the FLASH on a Cyclone V demo board. The sof file loads over the byteblaster cable and appears to work. By appears to work, I mean we can read and write the DDR memory and the bod talks over the PCIe bus. I tied using the NIOS II command shell and the command "sof2flash --input=ADC_Block.sof --output=ADC_Block.flash --offset=0xC80000 --pfl --optionbit=0x00018000 --programmingmode=FPP" to genereate a FLASH file. This works with several of my other files, but not all of them. I need all of the files to work.

The error I am seeing is after I load the FLASH. I select the second configuration file in FLASH by pressing the "SEL" button once. Then I press the "config" button The first clue something is wrong is the "Load" LED is on, faint but on. For a FLASH file that works, the "Load" LED blinks briefly at the start, then goes out. After the file loads, the red "ERR" LED comes on.

I tried using the FPGA to load the FLASH using a jic file. That fails no matter what file I use. I even created a very small file to just blink the LEDs and that fails.

Has anyone see this before?
