Hi all,

I use Web version of Quartus, but I have some issues. So how can I get their support? I have just registered in mysupport of Altera, it seems that it is not easy to get their help because of much information needed to provide.

So I need your advice.

Registering on the Altera WEB site for a MySupport account is a good start.

Once you are in the system, then the following applies.

File an SR on the system.

You will get an initial response saying that they have received your SR, and that it will be assigned to a case handler, usually in the next day or so.

In order to avoid delays, you need to be 'very specific' as to the nature of your question. If there is an error message involved in your issue please also list it in the box provided.

SR's are assigned to various support engineers based on the topic you select and the clarity of your initial message, so be very clear in what you are asking for.

That said, once you get assigned to a case handler, they may ask you more clarifying questions as needed.

This Forum was set up to help you as well, as many other may have already experienced the very same situation you are working through right now.

Good luck, and happy designing.
