the hardware and software i use are based on“niosii_ethernet_standard_3c25.zip” and“nichestack_tutorial” from altera pages.

This is because you are using the unlicensed Interniche Stack. You can fully use it for evaluation purposes but you need to buy the licence if you decide to develop a product with it. - DHCP warning This is not an issue. You probably are connected directly to your pc, which has not a DHCP server active. Since nobody assigns a ip address to the boards, it switches to the default ip address after a timeout. - other warnings I don't have another dev board, so I don't know the correct procedure for programming ip and eth addresses in your case. Refer to the kit manual. Usually those address are blank when the board is delivered and then it asks you to enter valid addresses the very first time you start the application, isn't it? Maybe you failed to enter the addresses, i.e. typing all zeros. Again in the manual, you'll certainly find the procedure to reset the board to factory settings. Regards
