MAX V CPLD In-Circuit Programming Via EEPROM

Hi,

I am investigating technologies to use for a new product idea and have never used a CPLD before. The question i have is: Is it possible to re-program a MAX V CPLD based on the presence of an i2C EEPROM or not (when EEPROM is removed, the original programming would take affect)? This EEPROM does not need to be hot swappable.

Thank You,

Darren

No. The MAX V configuration is stored internally and can be only updated through JTAG.
