MAX10 ADC in DD option

I am using a MAX 10M50DDF256 in a design and using the ADCs. The documentation states that the ADC are available in both the DD and the DA parts. However, when I try to run the design in Quartus Prime Lite I get an error that the ADCs are not supported in the DD option. If I change the device to the DA option, then the Quartus doesn't error.

Is this an Quartus Prime Lite issue or are the ADCs not supported in the DD option, contrary to the documentation?

If it is a Quartus Prime Lite issue, can I use the DA option in Quartus but program a DD part?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I would like to update with you regarding this case. Max 10 "DD" variant should support ADC feature same as Max 10 "DA".

This error has been confirmed to be fix and it will be implemented in future release of Quartus Prime.

Aqid

Thank you for the answer.

We are using Quartus Prime Lite. Can we get a patch to allow us to continue our development with the DD device and use the ADCs?

Hi,

However, we can only help to provide you with the patch for Standard version. Can you consider upgrading to Standard version?

Another one of our users was able to apply the patch for the Windows version and it works for him. Thanks for the help.
