MAXV maximum current per bank

Hi,

What's the maximum current per bank in 5M570ZT144C?

I need to drive 56 leds with 5mA (280mA). Is it possible?

VDDIO = 3V3

Thanks.

There's no explicite specification in the datasheet, but I think you can refer to the MAX II related specification in AN286.

Thanks for the reply.

AN286:"Although a single pin from a MAX 7000B device can sink up to 50 mA of DC current, each GNDIO group can concurrently sink up to 200 mA"

Does not exist similar specification for MAXV family?

Didn't you find it? It's 170 mA if I remember right.

The AN286 is not about the MAX V only MAX and MAX II.

170mA per pin (GND) or bank?

If 170mA per pin. Would be 850mA per bank?

according to AN286:

"For example, the EPM240 device has six GNDIO pads, which provide six I/O regions

that can sink up to 130 mΑ. If you need to sink 15 mA for the outputs, you can have

eight outputs per region. With the six regions of I/O between GNDIO pads, there are

48 possible outputs, each sinking 15 mA."

I think it's pretty clear if you review the MAX II data sheet and pin-out lists. I assume that MAX V has about the same current capability, but your requirements are distinctly below the discussed maximum ratings.
