Hi,
I am completely new to Altera and Quartus II. I am using Quartus II 64-bit 13.1.0 under Ubuntu Linux. I have a programmable NIM module with an Altera MAX chip to program to be able to make some 2-fold or 3-fold time coincidence from an input of 8 channels. Does anybody know a similar usecase and/or some related example project files? While watching tutorials I learned I need to specify the device I have (Altera MAX EPM7128SLC84-10N) under Assignments->Device. However, I don't see Max VII device family in the drop down list. When at the common Altera download page I did not find support device files (qdz) for device family Max VII. Could you help to find out how can I install qdz device files for my chip? Thanks a lot for any help. Kind regards, BalintLink Copied

Its not a max VII, its a max 7000, which is very old and IIRC, support was dropped in quartus 10.0.
