Multiple devices on JTAG chain?

Hi All,

Quick question about ancient technology :-) I have an EPM7032SL44, an EPF10k10SL84 and an EPC2 that I'd all like to connect together through a single JTAG connector. The FPGA and configuration EPROM seem to be okay but can I just extend the chain by adding the CPLD?

Thanks!

Yes there shouldn't be any problem. Just use the automatic detection in Quartus programmer to find all the components in the chain.

As Daiwen mentioned, you can use the Auto Detect feature in the Programmer to detect all the devices in the JTAG chain. Then you can select the specific device to do programming.
