- How much is the maximum current gives from the Expansion Header pin VCC33?

- Can I use GND and VCC33 as power supply to my circuit (it needs 52 mA)?

- Where can I find the data sheets?

You're apparently referring to a particular Dev Kit, but forgot to mention what it is.

I'm working with ALTERA DE2 (Development and Education Board) with the Cyclone II EP2C35F672C6. I'm talking about the 40-pin expasion header (VCC5 = PIN 11, VCC33 = PIN29 ang GND = PIN12 and PIN30).

I was looking the CD DE2 Systems on the file DE2_schematics\DE2_schematics.pdf, page 20 (POWER) found the LM2676 working as voltage regulator 3.3 V, so looking the data sheets, it is capable of driving up to 3A.

So, I guess I found the answer to my question. I hope it's right.

Yes, the connector can source a much higher current in most designs, cause VCC33 is most likely not working to capacity.
