For 5CEA7 FPGA series, considering the pin out for part number 5CEBA7F27C8N, there are Clock and PLL Pins which are mentioned with I/O, Clock function. could you please confirm if these are not used for clock functionality, can these be used as general purpose I/O pins

Hi,

functionality of each pin type is listed in Cyclone V pin connection guidelines. Clk input pins e.g. can be only used as input but not output.

Hi,

You can refer to the Pin Connection Guidelines for Cyclone V through link below:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjqwOy2wKqFAxWW-DgGHXWpD3kQFnoECBAQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fcdrdv2-public.intel.com%2F654351%2Fpcg-01014.pdf&usg=AOvVaw2m2X-WNgKpGbx8Vnr9rnO5&opi=89978449

If you are referring to the pin name "CLK[0:11][p:n]", then it mentioned there that these pins can also be used for data inputs or outputs.
