Problem JTAG chain detection with Byteblaster II

Hello,

I'd like to install a byteblaster II on a PC Windows XP.

I updated MaxPlusII to version 10.22.

The byteblaster is connected via a extension cord to a parallel port LPT1.

The byteblaster is detected by Maxplus II, no problem.

But when I want to check the JTAG chain, the message shows 0 device detected instead of 3.

I tried with another card, but it is the same thing.

Precisions: under BIOS, LPT1 is on EPP mode.

address: @378

The drivers are pgdhdlc.sys (4.0) and pgdhdlc.dll(3.51).

I tried also the bblpt.exe....

With regedit, the byteblaster service is parport..

Thanks a lot for your help !!

Sandra
