I was using Quartus and NIOS webpack version 6.1 and it was almost fine. Sometimes I got some message like "Target Processoe paused" while tried to run some applications in already the downloaded NIOS II processor. Through this forum I could know that there was some problems with software versions. So, I downloaded webpack 7.2 and started using it. Now, while running the SOPC builder, and after inclusion of all the components, I clicked in the GENERATE button, but it is saying about some validation error. So, what might be the cause ? I had included the same license file (not expired), that I was using earlier. Is it the problem with that license file ? I have requested for a new license file but till now it is not mailed to me. Please advise, what should I do.

Even i am facing somehow similar problem to this. After completing the design with SOPC builder, when i try to implement software through Nios II IDE, it displays an error message "unable to read data in the adress .... and leaves the target device paused". I even tried changing the address location but it still the error keeps coming. Everytime, it points out to the On-Chip memory address.
So, then, i tried implementing some basic programs directly onto FPGA from Quartus II software rather than going to Nios II and SOPC but now, it says that the program is successfully loaded onto the FPGA but there is no output. It just keeps on running in the power on mode with the default settings. I am still following the same given in tutorials.I do not know what could be a possible solution for this? Could someone help me out with this?
