Problem with the Nios II Plugin under Signal Tap II

Hi,

i'am using the Nios II Plugin under Signal Tap II.

The Quartus version is 10.0 Service Pack 1.

Can anyone help me to answer the next questions ?

My first question is:

Some Signals from the Nios Plugin are shown in red color.

What does this means ? The Plugin seems to work.

My seond question is:

In my last project, the Nios Plugin only shows "Empty" in the "Address" signals and in the "Assembly Language Mnemonic" signals, too.

I know the cases when the Plugin shows "Empty" but olways "Empty" is not ok.

Are there known problems in this Quartus version ?

Thanks for help,

Nicolas

Hello,

now, i know the problem, in which case the Nios II Plugin does not work and only shows "Empty" and all signals are shown in red color.

I use Quartus 10Sp1.

Under Analysis & Synthesis Settings, More Setting, i turned on the "Create Debugging nodes for IP Corres".

Now, all nodes for the Plugin were found and Signal Tap with de Nios Plugin runs error free.
