Question about NIOS II 9.0 CLI use

Hello all,

I'm new to NIOS II, and am still fumbling my way through it using a DE2-70 Development board. To that end, I've been trying to load and run the Quartus and NIOS II Demonstrations. I was trying to download one of the Quartus demos, the DE2-70 Audio, Audio Recording and Playing. Included with th project is a batch file to download the .sof and .elf files to the DE2-70 board. I'm having difficulties with the batch file. If i run it under Windows, by either double-clickin it, or from a DOS promt, it seems to run, launching NIOS in CLI mode, and downloading to the board. The download doesn't seem to run the demo. However, it gets to a point where it says:

Version 9.0, Built Wed Jun 17 22:46:32 PDT 2009

bash: nios2-download: command not found

bash: nios2-terminal: command not found

So I figured maybe I need to launch NIOS Command Shell and run he batch file from there. However it won't run the batch file at all.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance!!!
