Hi,

I have a TSW1400EVM for Stand Alone application so called Data Patterning. This kit has a Stratix IV FPGA. I Want to use it for other applications, But I have Issues with Clocking my own application.

Stuck in a mid sea

Please Help me out

Thanks in Advance

Why are you stuck?

Its just an FPGA board. If you have the schematic, and it has a JTAG connector, you can do whatever you like with it, without having to over-write the original TI image.

Here's what you need;

1. Schematic of the board

2. FPGA pin assignments

These can be extracted from the schematic, or if TI supplies the source code for their FPGA design, then you can extract it from that design - and then verify it relative to the schematic.

3. Build a trivial "blink LEDs" top-level design.

That trivial design will confirm you have a clock and can generate an output.

Cheers,

Dave
