Hello,
I am looking for SONET-SDH Compiler from Altera. As per Doc @ sonet/sdh compiler v2.4.0 release notes - altera (https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahukewjb68rrjs_xahvghjqkhyl2bzeqfggnmaa&url=https%3a%2f%2fwww.altera.com%2fcontent%2fdam%2faltera-www%2fglobal%2fen_us%2fpdfs%2fliterature%2frn%2frn_sonet_sdh_compiler_240.pdf&usg=aovvaw2xeubhhzm6osmnshmm6bs3) I should be able to locate it after a quick search. But it doesn't show up in the results page anymore. Any clues? Is it now removed or something? Am just looking for a simulation model to begin with. Thanks SriniLink Copied

I'm not sure if the SONET/SDH compiler exists now, as the document you're referring to is quite old. For the latst SONET/SDH IPs :
https://www.altera.com/products/intellectual-property/ip/interface-protocols/tpw192s.html https://www.altera.com/products/intellectual-property/ip/interface-protocols/tpw48p.html The simulation models you seek may be present in these IP packages. You may need to contact your local Altera support to find out if the SONET/SDH simulation model is available.- Mark as New

Since you're using the old version Quartus 5.x, you could download the Megacore library from here :
Windows : ftp://ftp.altera.com/outgoing/release/megacore_lib_51_pc.zip Linux : ftp://ftp.altera.com/outgoing/release/megacore_lib_51_linux.tar Unzip the files, install the Megacore libraries, or under the Windows folder , you will find the stsfrm-v2.4.0 folder. This is the SONET/SDH compiler you're looking for. Install it and check if it works for you.- Mark as New
