Hi all, I am completely new to the area of FPGA, but I am looking to develop a device that can bridge a Zigbee (802.15.4) network with a Wifi (802.11) netwotk. . I have been told the way to go is to use an Altera FPGA with a WiFi and zigbee module. As this is a college project I am trying not to spend too much, so which FPGA should I use and also which modules should I use.

Also is the logic to complete this bridge difficult. I have been told it is easy but as mentioned I am a complete beginner.

All help greatly appreciated
