about vhdl uart code problem

hi.... 

i have written vhdl code for establishing communication between two fpga boards through UART.. when i simulated my code it works perfectly, but it does'nt work on the board,,Y?,.... pls help???

"doesn't work" is a bit vague... 

Set up some Signaltap probes to see what is happening inside and compare the results with the simulation.
