Hi,

I add a signal tap component generated with megawizard in my project.

I have connected signals on its input : clock, data and trigger signals.

Is it possible to create an instance in signaltap II analyzer which integrate automatically megawizard parameters ?

When I create an instance manually, I can't run signal tap. The sof manager says that my instance is not compatible with the sof file.

I use this method :

- set the same clock, sample depth, continuous storage

- add signals (data and trigger) connected to the signal tap component (using "signaltap II: pre-synthesis" filter)

What is the correct method to use signal tap from a megawizard file and create a valid .stp file?

Thanks.

I found the solution, the menu was in quartus, not in signal tap analyzer.

So the correct way is:

quartusII / file / creat-update / create signal tap II file from design instance
