Hi,

that's the FPGA you are using, but what about the board on which the FPGA is mounted ?

Kind regards

I assume that the board has DDR Ram on it. In this case you have to implement a design with a memory controller. Altera offers some controllers for free with the Quartus SW.

Hi,

thanks for the hint.

But although this might be true, i´m still looking for a way to use additional ddr-ram. something like a 2Gb ddr-ram. (the normal ones you use in your desktop pc´s).

I know that i should be somehow able to connect the ddr-ram with the I/O banks of the board, but i don´t know how.

thx

The board offers overall 0.27 Mbyte Memory. I need definitely more.!
