cyclone 3 configuration device

Hi am using EP3c16Q240C8 device and i used configuration device EPCS4. Now i wanna change the configuration device to EPCS16. will there be any pin settings in hardware??

On which project you're using EP3C? i am using EPC325e144C8N FPGA along with EPCS16N ( 8 PIN SOIC)
