Hi,

I work with the EPC16 (base on Intel flash) to load the Stratix GX device.

The file that I burn to the EPC16 using JTAG (using the programmable altera program) is configuration at mode local

page0 - factory

page1 - app.

When I load the EPC with the JTAG the Stratix GX device wakes up ok.

When I try to burn the file to the EPC16 using the Intel bus interface (the burn is done through the FPGA) (I first erase all the flash and then I program him), it completes successfully, but the Stratix GX device doesn't wake up.

After each burn (using the JTAG and using the FPGA) I read the file from the flash using the JTAG, and I saw that in both cases the files were identical.

Is there something that the JTAG adds to the EPC when he burns it that differentiates it from the burn using the flash parallel interface?

Note: I also tried to program just page1 instead of the entire EPC, and then the Stratix loads from the EPC loads with the App version (the right one). However, when I try to program the factory section (page0), there is a problem.

the option bits are at page 0.
