I'm currently in school and although we can use the board and software at school I wanted to be able to use it at home to get HW done faster. Plus the fact I had to pay $200 for it means I should get as much use as possible from it.
I downloaded the Quartus II 9.1sp2 software as I need the Vector Waveform file for class. Everything loaded and compiled properly I just can't get the driver to install so I can program the board. I used the <quartus ii installation path>\bin\bblpt /i ↵ from the altera website in my cmd window but all it does is open up the Quartus II program and then tell me that file is not found. When I plug in the board to the USB it can't find hardware to set it up either. I'm new to this so just checking to see if I'm doing something wrong. Hi and welcome to Altera forums.
It seems that the board you have uses the USB blaster to configure. Try installing the driver in this folder <quartus ii installation path>\drivers\usb-blaster when you connect the board. Best regards, VTThank you, I got the driver loaded and the board loaded with my program. It was the USB Blaster, unfortunately the Lab procedure was not updated which was why they still have us trying to install the byteblaster driver. Thanks again for your help.
