help with example code rs232 DE2 Nios ii

hi! 

 

i need help with code (c language) to configure the rs232 port from my DE2. i need to receive data from the hyper terminal and according to the message do something in the board, like turning on some leds 

 

please if anyone know where i can get some examples let me know
