how to generate signal in matlab and implement in hardwave

hi guys,i borrowed de2 board from lab room of my university,so i want to aks you that how to generate signal in matlab and implement in hardwave throught adc audio in/out without real physical signal,if have so what's method ???

The question isn't particularly clear. 

 

A signal processing application will have input and output signals, e.g. input from an ADC and output to a DAC. You intend to replace the ADC input by a generated test signal? How about the output, where does it go? 

 

You can store the test signal in internal RAM, either compile it into the design or load it at runtime through a digital interface.
