Good day everyone that frequents this forum. I have two questions that I hope someone can answer.

1. Altera Part# EP20K200EFC484-1N. What does the "N" mean?

Not that I understand much of any of the part number, but I can't find the exact part number that includes the "N"

2. I have 150 pcs. Unopened with a date code of 0610, Anyone buying?

N typically means compliant with RoHS regulations respectively suited for Pb-free processing. Seems plausible also from the date code.

Thank You very much for taking time to respond. Is there a chance I will find someone interested in these parts through this forum?

These are basically legacy parts, although rather expensive, they have small performance compared to today's FPGA. They are only interesting to continue an existing production.

They did become very interesting to me after I looked them up on Digi-Key, very pricey to say the least. I'm a fish out of water as I drifted into this forum this morning. I have no experience with these nor the knowledge of popularity. I am aware that although they seem to have nice value after researching them, there's always the chance it will sell like a cisco router does after three years goes by. I guess the date code not being expired made me think these were more current than what I usually find and may be sought after parts. Any information I get from you is very helpful and appreciated. Hell, I feel like I really accomplished alot hooking up with the 2nd highest and well respected person on this site. I was hoping for results and that's exactly what I found. So I guess I'll just list them on ebay and see how they do. Thank You sir.
