Hello everyone !

I use Quartus II Web Edition7.0 and DE1 board with EP2C20F484C7 FPGA. I used it without problem.

Now I've installed the software on other computer. I sent my NIC number and got back license file. When I install license file and when I try to compile the design I get the error message:

the license file does not support ep2c20f484c7 device

Please advice me where the problem could be?

Thank you very much,

Bojan

If you are setting your license file in the environment variable, you will need to restart your Quartus II and possibly restart your PC.

If you are using Quartus II to point to the license file, click on Tool -> License setup. Then browse to your license file.

Also check if your NIC address is the correct one. The 90-day evaluation license should be able to compile for EP2C20F484 without problem.

hi,

enters tools => license setup and see the list of devices that are supported by this license!

load the file C: \ flexlm \ license.dat and you will see the complete list of devices.

good luck
