waveform in quartusii

Hello,

I am using quartusii to simulate my design in linux platform.My design and testbench both are compiled but how do i see the waveform like Isim in Xilinx.

You've to install Modelsim.

It will show the waveforms.

But ModelSim is not a free tool.Does not altera support anything like Isim in Xilinx.

Help needed in this.

I never installed it but I see on Altera website

a ModelSim-Altera starter edition for Linux.

I would try to download and install it.

For what I know Isim is no more supported starting from Quartus 10.0.

Altera provides modelsim starter edition for free on the website.
