Why do you need IRST on your laptop?

I don't know that I do. I run a hard disc and SSD, but from i understand Windows 10 installed IRST automatically.
Do you have any suggestions for the original post?

Windows 10 most definitely DID NOT automatically install Intel RST. Unless you are using RAID or an Optane module, you do not need Intel RST and it would be best if you completely uninstalled the package. Open the Apps and Features applet, click on the entry for Intel RST and select Uninstall.

Not sure; I have never seen it display more than one. I wonder if there is an icon to go with each of n outstanding error messages. Anything in the message center/event log?
What happens if you click on one of these icons? Does it cause an error message to pop up?
