Can someone instruct me on what this means and what I have to do? I don't know much about computers. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello JAnge14,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Please run the following tools and attach the reports generated.

1. Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)

  • Intel® SSU Download link
  • Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

Please generate a report from the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology.

  • Open the Intel Rapid Storage Technology user interface (Start > Programs > Intel > Intel® Rapid Storage Technology).
  • Click the Help icon.
  • Click the System Report icon.
  • Click Save.
  • Attach the report to the thread.

Note:

It's important to mention that you have a RAID 0 (striping).

RAID 0: uses the read/write capabilities of two or more hard drives working together to maximize storage performance. Data in a RAID 0 volume is arranged into blocks that are spread across the disks so that reads and writes can be performed in parallel. This RAID does not have security because is meant for performance.

Start making a back up of all your data since the warning icon could indicate that your data can be lost since there could be a damaged/corruption files on one of your disks.

Hello JAnge14,

We have not heard back from you, so we will close this inquiry. If you need further assistance, please post a new question

Note:

As suggested, it would be good to contact the system manufacturer of your system to make a backup of all your data.
