I have an HP that came with a mini SSD drive for rapid startup caching. HP apparently didn't set the thing up properly, so it took me a lot of work to get it going (namely, had to change the HDD drive from AHCI to RAID during Windows Safeboot then freshly install RST and I finally was able to click "accelerate").
Ever since I got it working, I'm getting 6008 unexpected shutdown errors followed by 41 no clean shutdown errors every time the computer sleeps. Those are the only 2 errors in the system log. There is no minidump to figure out the cause.
This did not happen before RST accelerated my startup (which now does clean startups in 1.5 minutes instead of 6, so I don't want to have to get rid of it). This appears to be directly related to RST.
I've searched online, but I can't seem to find any help for this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Windows 10 Creators Update
Intel RST 14.8.latest
Intel Core i7-4770
KingSpec 64GB mSATA SSD

Hello rasamassen,
Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
Was Windows installed in RAID mode? If not, this is required to accelerate and to have the IRST working properly.
Please let me know.
Best regards,
Ivan U.

Windows was switched from AHCI to RAID using http://triplescomputers.com/blog/uncategorized/solution-switch-windows-10-from-raidide-to-ahci-operation/ http://triplescomputers.com/blog/uncategorized/solution-switch-windows-10-from-raidide-to-ahci-operation/ The machine came in AHCI from HP even though I specifically customized it to include an mSATA SSD cache drive.
IRST is working properly in ALL regards EXCEPT when the computer goes to sleep. On a cold boot, IRST reduces my boot time from 6 minutes to 1.5 minutes. Acceleration is ON in Enhanced mode.
The computer runs beautiful if I never let the machine go to sleep. But I do a lot of work where I leave numerous windows open overnight and let the computer sleep to come back to it the next time. I need sleep mode working.
There has to be a solution.

You can try contacting you computer manufacturer to update your motherboard BIOS, also try installing the latest graphics driver that you can download here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26984/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81496 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26984/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81496
Honestly, this steps that you use to change from AHCI to RAID is not validated by Intel because with the Intel® software we will need to install the operating system in RAID mode or AHCI so if the issue persists there must be some conflict between the IRST and the way the BIOS was configured with those steps.
