What is the error message produced?

Please run the Intel System Support Utility and attach the report it generates to this thread.

1. Download the Intel System Support Utility and save the application in your computer. You can get it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-?product=91600
2. Open the application and click Scan to see system and device information. The application defaults to a summary view on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says Summary to change it to Detailed View.
3. To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

I am not seeing anything obvious in the SSU report; Intel Customer Support will need to analyze it closer.

What is the SATA Mode set to in the BIOS?

What is the exact error message that you see when trying to install this latest RST package?

I, while trying to install, or uninstall, the same error:

"fatal error" - no further information.

Yesterday, with "Revo Uninstaller Pro", I was able to force the uninstall.

After uninstalling, I was able to successfully reinstall version 17.2.0.1009.

It's sorted out.
