I am getting an error - "This platform is not supported" when trying to execute setupRST.exe?

Have been facing the issue described under - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000055130/technologies/intel-rapid-storage-...

 

Tried installing the generic installer but I receive the error - This platform is not supported.

 

Attaching a diagnostic report for reference.

Thank you for posting on this Intel Community.

 

What is the Intel® RST driver version currently installed on your system? Is it a driver version between 15.1.0.1002 and 15.5.2.1053 installed?

 

To gather more information:

 

1.Open the Intel Rapid Storage Technology user interface (Start > Programs > Intel > Intel® Rapid Storage Technology).

2.Click the Help icon.

3.Click the System Report icon.

4.Click Save.

I cannot find the user interface for RST.

Thank you for your response. 

 

We were not able to find an Intel® RST driver version at your computer manufacturer's website for testing purposes. Due to hardware or BIOS configuration, an Intel® RST driver may not install properly.

 

In this scenario, we recommend contacting your system manufacturer or Microsoft to obtain further support and instructions on how to deploy Windows* updates.
