As of yet, I cannot uninstall the driver. Due to what is shown in the attached image. The upgrade process fails with the same error using the Gigabyte provided driver as well. A backup of the array is in progress. Afterward I will attempt to perform a more aggressive uninstallation.
It will not allow me to uninstall the driver due to it being a "primary" drive, although it's quite not. The vendor provided software package presents the same error as the Intel package. It is starting to look like I will have to remove the array, uninstall the driver, reform the array and install the newest driver.
