I purchased a new computer, and each time I start it, this error message pops up. I've updated Windows in the hope that it would update the driver if need be, but to no avail. Even trying to manually start the RST doesn't work.
I contacted the store that sold the computer, and they weren't particularly helpful... their response was virus/malware, driver update, or bad operating system. It seems more to me like a software/hardware conflict between what they've put into this computer.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Antuulien,
Thank you for joining the Rapid Storage Technology community. My apologies for the inconvenience.
The "IAstorIcon.exe" is related to the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, I would like to know if you are using this app in your computer. In case you are not aware, the Intel® RST is intended to monitor RAID configurations and disks status, so is actually not necessary to have it unless your purpose is the one mentioned above.
Regards,
Amy C.
