I am running Intel RST trying to expand raid and does not have an option in manage just able to add drive as spare. i have read that you can with older versions, what am i missing?

the changes that I did were too add 2 additional harddrives and convert to a raid 5 with the 3 HD that i had went seemlessly. I added a 4th HD thougtht i would be able to expand . just no option for that that i can see in the RST management.
I am not sure what specific information you are looking for, also do not know what trouble shooting steps to preform, I have found one pdf and it was from 2011 version 1 user guide for RST.
I f you have steps or suggestions to try please let me know

I am experiencing the same problem as the original poster. I have an existing RAID 5 configuration using 3x 10TB drives. I have just installed a 20TB drive and want to expand the volume of the RAID configuration to include this Disk. the Intel RST application only gives the option to add the drive as a spare. How do I setup the drive as part of the existing RAID volume?
