Intel Rapid Storage Tech App doesn't show Intel SSD on Marvel 9128

Intel SSD connected to Marvel 9128 controller does not appear in Intel Rapid Storage Technology application v 12.5.0.1066.

Win 7 Pro. Intel SSD 520.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why and whether it can be fixed?

This behavior is normal since Intel® Rapid Storage Technology will only monitor the drives connected to the Intel® Chipset/SATA controller.

If you are trying to setup a RAID with the Marvell* controller you may want to verify the controller supports RAID, it is set to this SATA mode in BIOS and you will need two drives connected to it before you are able to access the RAID BIOS via keyboard shortcut (usually Ctrl+M).
