Is it possible to save a RAID 0 after BIOS update?

Is there no way to save a RAID 0 array from after a BIOS (UEFI) update?

I'd like to update the UEFI on my motherboard but that will erase the metadata about the IRST RAID 0 array in the CMOS. My array is a system disk an I'll lose the ability to boot. Is there no way around this? If the metadata about the array is erased but the integrity of the individual disks is just fine, can't IRST rebuild the array by adding the two disk to it? Thanks.

In regard to your inquiry, I just wanted to let you know that the metadata of the RAID is saved on the hard drives, it is not save on the CMOS. So, a work around that you can try will be to disconnect the hard drives, do the BIOS update, immediately after that get in the BIOS and change the SATA mode to RAID, once you do that, then you can connect the hard drives again and the RAID 0 should work just fine.
