Hi

I have an Acer NItro AN515-52 and used the IRST thinking that i can combine the two drives because my drive C is Almost Full. Then my entire 1 TB D drive has gone missing. I think it became a mirror copy of my drive C or a recovery disk.. how can I get back my drive D???

Thank you in advance!!

NIbra, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support. In reference to your inquiry, as you mentioned, the drive became a recovery disk. Once the computer has been placed as recovery, the Intel® Rapid Storage does not have a way to undo these changes and the information that was stored in there will be lost. As an option, we can always try the following steps to disable the recovery disk and to start the RAID from scratch: - Restart the PC and access to CTRL - i menu, to do that press and hold the Ctrl key and tap the "i" key several times when the PC is starting up to access the menu. - Once you do that you will be able to see the status of the disks, reset disks to "Non-RAID Disk" - If for some reason the Ctrl - i does not work, then it is possible that the shortcut to access that menu on your computer is different, in that case, the next thing to do will be to get in contact with the manufacturer of the computer for them to provide the correct shortcut or a possible option in the BIOS. - Once you set the drives to "Non-RAID Disk" you will be able to access a regular Operating System partition to set the computer back to factory settings. If the problem persists after trying the steps above, then the next thing to do will be to get in contact with Acer for further technical assistance on this subject: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support Regards, Alberto R. I can't access the Control + i (RST BIOS Extension) on my Acer NItro AN515-52...

I've read on some forums that RAID tool can delete the Raid 1, I've tried it but it couldn't Delete the Raid 1 because my IRST is 16.0.1... do you have a Raid tool that can delete the Raid 1 made by IRST v. 16 above??? or is their another way to delete the the Raid 1.. please help me... thank you in advance

NIbra, Thank you very much for letting us know those updates. In reference to your question, no there is not a tool that can delete the RAID 1 made by Intel® RST, the only options to do that are using the Intel® RST tool itself or by accessing the Ctrl - i menu. If you cannot access that menu then the next thing to do will be to get in contact with Acer directly so they can further assist you with this scenario. Regards, Alberto R.
