Platform not supported

Hello,

When I try to install the latest version of Inter RST Driver I get error:

Platform not supported.

I have Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB and Rapid mode is Activated though the driver is outdated.

Current RST version: 14.5.0.1081

Laptop mode: P038NE HP Pavilion

Intel Chips Series 8

SSU and Dxdiag are attached.

If you tried to install the "latest" version, it isn't ever going to work. You have an 8 Series chipset and support in the latest versions is for 100 Series and later chipsets.

 

The last version released that would support the 8 Series chipsets is v14.8.16.1063. You can download it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26759/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-User-Interface-and-Driver.

P.S. You do know that, for laptops, you should only use drivers provided by the laptop vendor, right?
