RAID Controller RS3FC044

I have an ASUS Z87-WS motherboard with an intel RAID controller RS3EC044.

My question is, I need to replace my motherboard's CMOS battery and I am concerned if that will affect any BIOS settings and in turn destroy my RAID10 array configuration and or it's data ?

Any help on this subject will be GREATLY appreciated !!
