No, you cannot do that. The devices must be of like interface, either both SATA or both NVMe. If the M.2 connector supports it, you could use a M.2 SATA SSD (instead of a M.2 NVMe SSD), along with a SATA HDD/SSD, to form an array. Sorry, ...S

No, I am afraid not. Intel removed this capability, called Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT), from its Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) subsystem when it introduced caching/acceleration via Intel Optane Module.
