Hello. I have a 2x 3TB as raid 1 disk setup

I am using Intel RST 14.8.0.1042 on windows 8.1 64

The data on this disk is my priority rather than the speed

So which settings should i set for maximum data security on RST panel?

Here my settings currently

Hello MonsterMMORPG,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

With the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology you can create the RAID 1 but there is not other setting that you can do for maximum data security, the protection with RAID 1 in a PC can also provide added protection from disastrous hard drive failures by mirroring all data among two or more drives.

RAID 0 is different, when a RAID 0 volume fails or is disconnected; the data on the hard drive is no longer accessible. If a hard drive fails, the data cannot be recovered.

At this point for better protection we strongly recommend to have a back up of your DATA in case of a RAID failure.

I hope this can help.

Regards,

Ivan

Hello MonsterMMORPG:

In regard to your inquiry, the option that the RAID has is to accelerate it, that is what is called RAID acceleration.

Is that what you are asking when you refer to write cache buffer flushing and cache mode?

Any questions, please let me know.
