i will like to know if there is a walk-around on how to install windows 7 sp1 on this this processor. I currently bought 12 7th generation machines with this technology and my intention was to install windows 7 on all these machines but unfortunately i am stuck. i have read from forums and other threads that a driver is required but i dont really know the specific driver to use as there so many of such on the support page. thanks in advance
Only Windows 10 is supported on 7th gen and newer processors. Windows 7, 8.0 and 8.1 are not supported (device drivers are not being developed or validated). You could run Windows 7 in a VM, but not as the primary/hosting O/S.
