I would like to setup a bootable RAID 10 array with 6 SATA drives using this board.
http://ark.intel.com/products/56333/Intel-Server-Board-S2600CP2 Intel® Server Board S2600CP2 Specifications
From reading it seems like this would be possible with the RKSATA8 storage key.
Can someone confirm that this is a valid configuration?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
To answer your question, if the partition for the Operating System is bigger than 2 TB we strongly recommend using a hardware RAID controller instead and enable GPT partition in the BIOS. The RKSATA8 key will enable support for all 8 drives but the embedded RAID solutions will not support bootable partitions bigger than 2 TB, only for storage when using the RSTe controller.
