Hi All,

Are there any specifics about installing Centos 7 on a R2308WTTYSR Server?

How can i deploy OS from a USB?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Currently, CentOS 7 is not showing under the tested operative systems for this board, bear in mind that Intel always recommend to use validated Operative System. However I've tried in our lab environment and it works in enhanced mode, If you are using a raid controller please provide us more information on the setup.

To install it with a USB just make a bootable flash drive since the installation process is the same as like any other operative system.

You will find the list of validated systems in the following link:

Alright no RAID controller then. You are correct, SATA mode to Enhanced.

Give it a try when the system arrives and let us know if you need anything else.

Everything went OK, but with Ubuntu 16.04 instead. Haven't tried Centos at all.

Thank you so much for your help..
