Does the Intel 750 1.2TB SSD work with the S5520SC mainboard?

Hello all,

I may or may not have bought an Intel 750 NVMe SSD without fully understanding all the technologies involved. That is definitely a mistake that I will own.

That being said, after a moderate amount of exploration and a few BIOS updates later, would anyone know if the 750SSD will work with our Intel S5520SC mainboard with BIOS version 64. Currently the disk is empty with a GPT layout configured. I cannot get it to appear in the BIOS as a bootable option. The option "EFI Optimized Boot" is greyed out.

Thanks for any insight, ideas or advice!

Adam

So as many of you probably already knew, the motherboard only supports AHCI devices and not NVMe devices. I have learned a lot about device compatibility! Thanks all for taking a look.
