Hi,
I have an older SuperMicro server with Xeon Quadcore, 5400 (seaburg) chipset and ESB2 controller and I would like to install Windows Server 2012. I don't find any specific server 2012 support/drivers, but am wondering if I am not looking in the right places and/or if I should downgrade to 2008.
Any advice for me?
Much appreicated.

Intel didn't make Windows 2012 drivers for the 5400 chipset. You can always ask SuperMicro if they did, but given the age difference between the board and the OS, it is very very unlikely.

Hi Dan O,
Appreciate the response. I looked into it and decided to abort the effort. I asked the client to purchase a new server that supports 2012.
